How to make USBTrace log for protection dongles
PLEASE FOLLOW BELOW PROCEDURE FOR MAKE GOOD USBTRACE LOG FOR YOUR DONGLE
1. Unplug your dongle from USB port.
2. Run USBTrace.
3. Uncheck all check-boxes on Device tree.
4. Select “Capture Hot Plugged Devices”.
5. Click “Start Capture”.
6. Plug your dongle to USB port. Note USBTrace start logging.
7. Minimise USBTrace window, leave it log in background.
8. Run your protected software, work with software as much as you can. Close software.
9. Back to USBTrace and click “Stop Capture”.
10. Use USBTrace File->Export and export log to .txt file.
11. Save, pack and Send created .utl and .txt files.
Thats all.
